Fern’s Coins of Fortune
Clay Oracle Coins for Modern Witches
A sandy-colored set of clay fortune telling coins with 41 unique coins and interpretive scroll in a cotton drawstring bag with a screen-printed unfurling fern design. Whether you’re a seasoned witch or a casual fortune telling enjoyer, these coins will be a fun tactile addition to your tool set. These coins are bit thinner than usual, making them much lighter. While they are still not fragile, I recommend being more gentle with them than with other sets.
How to Read the Coins
Reach into the bag and stir the coins while holding your question in your mind. When you are ready, scoop a handful and gently toss them onto a padded surface.
The coins that land face up should be read, and the coins that land face down should be set aside.
Coins may represent people, actions, or times. It is up to the interpreter.
Note:
All coins are hand made and naturally vary slightly in shape, size, and thickness, and may occasionally have spots of different colors. Each coin in one set has the same design on the back, but different sets may have different designs.
Coins are sturdy and shouldn’t break by falling on hardwood floor (they might break against concrete, or if thrown), but I recommend tossing them on a mat, blanket, or any gentle surface to avoid the risk of breaking. This set is thinner than other sets, so please take extra care.
Disclaimer:
Fern’s Coins of Fortune are for entertainment purposes only and should not be used as a substitute for professional advice, such as medical, legal, or financial advice!
These coins are NOT suitable for children under 5 years old due to the choking hazard!

handmade clay fortune telling coins
Imbued with magic, and made from the earth itself, these coins make for a perfect addition to your divination tools, and are a great way to get started.
How They’re Made
Drawn and designed while traveling through Europe, stamps were hand carved from clay.
The stamps were bisque fired, then used to make the coins themselves, smushed between the front and back stamp of the unfurling fern.
Coins are polished in a rock tumbler and then glaze fired, and drawstring bags are screen-printed with the unfurling fern.
The coins and an interpretive scroll go into the drawstring bag, and voila, a Fern’s Coins of Fortune set is made.
Because each set is handmade, there is variation in each one. All the sets contain 41 unique coins, a scroll (coin interpretation key), and come in a screen-printed drawstring bag. Our clay types vary from a mixed recycled clay, deep reds and browns, to bone white.
